The lovin’ has begun. And our whole team is digging the feedback.
As peak wedding season builds to a crescendo, client reviews provide a wonderful respite from the frenzied work on setting up turntables and speakers and finessing playlists.
Common themes from the heartfelt reviews are appreciation that Scratch Weddings spent so much time preparing for the wedding, and that our wedding DJs truly rocked the dance floor, compelling everyone to dance.
“OMG, literally my friends and family CANNOT stop talking about the wedding! Everyone says it was the best wedding they had ever been to, including their OWN kids” wrote May 22 Washington, D.C., bride Alisia Golden. “EVERYONE should work with you guys!!!”
Kelly Milward, who was married May 14 in West Park, NY, told The Knot booking with Scratch Weddings was the single best wedding planning decision she made – aside from choosing Andrew Gittelman as her groom, of course!
“We used DJ JVC and, no exaggeration, he absolutely made my wedding reception! Starting with the prep call beforehand, the Scratch staff were super organized, and I felt like JVC knew exactly what I wanted and was able to make some really great suggestions. He was incredibly easy to work with. He kept the party going all night – literally every person was on the dance floor the whole night. I got rave reviews from everyone.”
“I was really nervous about finding the right DJ, as my family is very particular about what music they hear and we have very different tastes (my dad = super old country, i = J5 and Tribe Called Quest hip hop) but Vida mixed everything flawlessly. She even pulled out favorites I hadn’t thought to request. We were married in Buffalo, NY, and Vida traveled there and back, set everything up, and provided perfect music for the ceremony and the reception. The whole staff at Scratch was extremely helpful, attentive, and responsive as well as amazingly flexible (my venue didn’t have the most attentive day-of attendant, but that didn’t phase anyone.) I’d have another wedding just to have Vida spin for a while longer!”
No problem, Sara, we’ll be here for you when you schedule your re-commitment ceremony.
Even veteran wedding industry professionals like photographer Ron B. Wilson, who have seen hundreds of wedding DJs, are commenting about the heightened musical sensibilities of Scratch Weddings. A photo Ronnie shot of DJ Arisa Sound on June 4, in New York City accompanies this post.
“She really was awesome. I kept talking about the awesome fusion of French and American music all day on Sunday. It was great… I’ve actually been on Youtube listening to some of the music she played.”
Keep the lovin’ coming.
