Where do I begin! I have been impressed with Scratch since our first phone call back in August. 9 months before our wedding. I loved the idea of being matched up with DJs that would fit our wedding. Every step of the way was smooth, fun, and exactly what I was looking for. I was very pleased that we were given the opportunity to actually hear Alias spin a little before we had to commit. I really appreciated the amount of information I was asked to provide -- you really wanted to know every detail about my vision for the day, and that was reflected when Alias absolutely nailed the wedding! I could not have been happier with how my wedding went -- from the spot-on vibe of the cocktail hour to the transition into dance music, to the late-night old school rap session that he could tell we were really into! One of the most memorable moments of my entire day was the Bruce Springsteen tribute that we had for my late mother -- it was perfectly executed, and I couldn't have even imagined it being as touching and wonderful as it was. DJ As One was professional, skilled and added a total element of cool to our wedding. after being to so many weddings with lame bands or tired cheesy DJs. Our experience with Dana and DJ Fernando S were AMAZING. We didn't want a cheesy wedding DJ, we wanted an atmosphere where people were on the dance floor the whole time--and our DJ completely delivered! He understood the mix of our crowd and had something for everyone to dance to (younger or older, everyone was on the dance floor!). We liked him because he was very current with his dance music, which appealed to the younger crowd, but was also very well versed with oldies but goodies that he threw into the mix that kept the older crowd on the dance floor as well. I HIGHLY recommend Scratch Weddings for your DJ services. DJ Trife played our wedding on 11/11/11 and he was AMAZING. Our guests danced during the entire reception...all the way up until 1 am. He had a very diverse mix of music, and was able to change it up based on the preferences of our guests. Dana was our Music Coordinator, and she made sure that every detail was handled professionally. Our guests raved about the music selections and that they've never danced so much at a wedding reception!

Scratch should be everyone's first choice for their wedding DJ. That's all there is to it. The service is impeccable, their DJ's are incredibly talented, and their crews are like ninjas with the equipment set-up and strike. All of this makes for a 100% worry-free day with guaranteed success on the dance floor.

I was really nervous about finding the right DJ, as my family is very particular about what music they hear and we have very different tastes (my dad = super old country, me = J5 and Tribe Called Quest hip hop) but Vida mixed everything flawlessly. She even pulled out favorites I hadn't thought to request. We were married in Buffalo, NY and Vida traveled there and back, set everything up, and provided perfect music for the ceremony and the reception. The whole staff at Scratch was extremely helpful, attentive, and responsive as well as amazingly flexible (my venue didn't have the most attentive day-of attendant, but that didn't faze anyone.)
